Sam has been practicing yoga for two years now starting with hot yoga and Bikram. She later ventured on to non hot classes like power, vinyasa and ashtanga and fell in love with yoga. When she first started doing yoga, Uttanasa (forward fold) was a very difficult asana for her. She has since come a long way, inverting or getting into a flying lizard is now one of her many favourite things to do!

After completing her 200 hours YTT majoring in Ashtanga & Hatha, Sam began giving private lessons to relatives and friends and has enjoyed the sharing of knowledge through her passion – yoga. She also conducts monthly ‘Yoga Gives Back’ classes by the beach (where all proceeds from this class go to a dog shelter of her choice).

With Power, Core, Hot Hatha, Hatha 2, Vinyasa, Yoga Basics, Yin, Wheel, Kids, Inversions & Arm Balance, Ashtanga & Mysore under her belt, this yogi is a walking endorphin and promises that her classes will always be challenging.

A big believer in learning from the best, Sam has attended workshops such as Patrick Beach’s Masterclass /Inversion/Vinyasa, Dylan Werner’s Masterclass /Inversion/Vinyasa, Rhyanna’s Weekend Inversion/Vinyasa, Laruga’s Ashtanga Workshop, Special yoga classes by Patrick Creelman & recently Kino McGregor’s Ashtanga weekend workshop in May 2017.

Sam is a big believer in #practiceandalliscoming. What keeps her grounded is her
favourite quote from the yoga sutras 2.4.6 “Sthira Sukham Asana-“ Patanjali
